The Ocean

The Ocean is a printmaking project developed during 2019 and 2020. Its a never ending artistic process that involves woodcarving and hand printing. More that 30 woodcuts where developed, and every day a new one is being added. As its name refers, The Ocean can take many forms. It an be a mural made of xilographies turned into pasteups or an artwork for your home. It can be a collage made for a handmade book cover or an unique handprinted t-shirt. The Ocean never stops growing and changing.

As Jules Verne says in Twenty thousand leagues under the sea: «The sea is everything. It covers seven tenth of the terrestrial globe. Its breath is pure and healthy. It is an immense desert, where man in never lonely, for he feels life stirring on all sides. The sea is only the embodiment of a supernatural and wonderful existence. It is nothing but love and emotion, it is the Living Infinite».
